Hey guys--

This week was classy. First of all, we had an awesome party on sunday when Elder Ekstrom and I celebrated our 4th month anniversary of being on the mission. 27th of September marked 1/6 of the mission, which is crazy that it´s going this fast. The party was awesome. We had an crazy party with froot loops, gatorade, balloons, and all sorts of other things. It rocked.

We also talked to some funny people this week. All the people in brasil are funny, but some are just hilarious. Like.....the lady that we taught last saturday. it was the second lesson and we taught he about Jesus Christ and about how He was baptized. then we ask her if she thinks she needs to get baptized. "yeahhhhh....., i do think i need to get baptized. I just don´t think the time is right now. I mean, I have so many sins and I´d have to repent." what!? We had also just taught her about repentance. "yeahhh.....I think i´ll just know when I have to get baptized. I think God will just reach out and touch me and i´ll just know."
then my comp said, "sooo, you think that one day, you´ll just be hanging up some laundry or something and then God will just touch your soul and you´ll know?"
her: "hhmmmm...maybe not like that, but...."
yeah. we ended up cutting her. there are a bunch of crazy people who just have no idea whats up and they aren´t ready and prepared for the Gospel. and then there are also others who are super sick. they just pray and know what´s up and wanna get baptized.

well, hope that you are all having fun. Dad, its gonna be you´re b-day this week. happy birthday. Anna, you´re coming up. love you all. the church is true.
