Well well well.....

 

so this week was neat. it´s been a lot of fun. i´m liking it here with Elder Thompson. it´s been weird but kind of a relief to have some one american. haha. who knows. but yeah, it´s been a lot of fun to show him whatsup and how everything works down here. and more info about my comp: he´s from mesa arizona, and he snowboards and wakeboards and is pretty sweet.

 

But this week was also really good cause we got a new shower head. our shower head (the kind that zaps the water to make it hot) has been broken since i got here (the wires overheated and melted and there was a big fire, i heard), but it wasn´t that big of a deal cause it´s so hot that the water left the shower almost warm. but lately it´s been getting a lot colder, and so the water leaves the faucet freezing now, which was rough for a while. but finally, i decided that i couldn´t stand it any longer, and so i bought a new one, which is awesome.

 

Also, i don´t know if i told you guys about Jessica yet (i think I did), but just so you know, she is the most elect person that i have yet to see on the mission. It is a miracle. like i may have told you last week, she just showed up in the church last week, and also the week of general conference. we invited her to be baptized this past monday, but i think that if i hadn´t asked her, she would´ve asked me if we could baptize her. yeah, it´s pretty crazy. but this past week she has just been so excited for her baptizm. she´s more acitve than half the member´s, considering that she goes to insitute, the mutual acivities, sings in the choir, and just about everything else. so i´ll tell you more about that this coming week.

 

Also, Daiana (Diana) also passed in the baptizimal interview, and so she´ll be baptized this next week unless something crazy happens. We´ve really had to fight for this one. She has a bunch of questions and was from the 7th day adventists so who knows. but there´s no denying the restoration. she knows that this church is true so know the only issue is to get baptized, eh? é isso.

 

But yeah. you probably are also gonna want an update on maria louisa. well.....she´s been doing good and bad. good because she hasn´t gotten worse, but she´s also not doing a lot better. there hasn´t really been that much of a strain on Anacleto and his family, because she´s been really sick for a while, and so it´s not that a whole lot hasn´t changed. she´s been this way for the past 8 months now, i think. she was taking this medice that kept making her really sleepy, which was lame cause a couple times we passed by her house but she just sleeps, so anyway. but at least she´s baptized, right?
