Dear Family,

This week has been good. We worked really hard and hit a lot of houses this week--looking for people that will listen to us. it was good. We also have some sweet investigators that we´re working with. I know they´re going to get baptized. We were talking with them and one of them was talking and basically said: "yeah, so the other day, i was just thinking about joseph smith, and i was like....you know, i´m in the same situation that he´s in. i´m looking for religion, and i don´t know which church is true. soooo...i prayed, and you know what--? i know that joseph smith is a prophet." that was sweet when that happened. The only thing is that we gotta get her to church, cause she´s out of town a lot of weekends visiting her spouse who lives in another city working or something. but, it´ll be awesome when it happens. silky, almost....(you know who you are...)

And...today is mom´s birthday. I think you´re 40, right? happy birthday mom. i love you. thanks for everything. you´re awesome (even though i didn´t get an email from you this week). but happy birthday. you didn´t email me this week, i didn´t send you a present. happy b-day.

Other funny things that happened this week:

I found out the name of my comp and his siblings--his name is Joelsson. he´s got 2 brothers and a sister. their names: joel, joelma, and joelda. i don´t know if its joelma or joelda that´s the sister. sorry. his parents must be crazy.

also: the other day, i bought a pineapple and was slicing it up as a delicious breakfast snack, when i thought about how awesome grilled pineapple was. we have a foreman grill in our house, and another elder told me all i needed was brown sugar....and we had grilled pineapple. it was actually really good. the only thing was, the brown sugar turns to molten crazy-town in the cooker, and afterwards, it´s near-impossible to get it off. after the grill cooled, there was a black sticky substance on the grill that even the ants didn´t like. its been on the toast ever since, but its not as bad now.

Well, i hope you are all doing great. spencer:have fun in school. anna: same. hyrum:same, ben:same, stephen:is a dupies. love ya. the church is awesome and true.
